Well, gee, you make it sound like such a no-brainer when you put it like that. Really, I should use the Normal Life Span setting and put in the age spans that I want. I use the long life span setting because I always did before MC introduced the Age Span setting and, as it was working for me, I didn't want to mess with it. The do appear to be approaching death eventually. I have some very, very old Elders in the game who's life span seems to have been extended well into the next century. However, I have seen some strange effects when I first alter the settings. Ageing seems to take place normally and age-ups occur as expected. The following gives my MC settings and the figures in '()' are what I actually get in the game:

MC multiplies my age settings by x4 because of my use of the EA 'Long' setting. I can't answer about any 'Official' limit but I use very long ages and I use the EA 'Long' lifespan. If anyone has tinkered around with the setting at what values do problems start to arise if any? Normally there is a max value that one can change, I'm not seeing one. I have a few questions regarding the age span settings before I start to tinker around with it. If you can't find it on the first level, click on "More Choices"
